George F. Tasker, 81, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Bridgewater Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Fannie Tasker; and sisters, Hester, Mildred, and Margaret. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Esther; children, Aleda, Glenn, Daniel, and Sharon; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He retired from Endicott-Johnson after over 40 years of service and was also a railroad enthusiast.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 12 Noon, at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, with Rev. Timothy Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
