George Lester Harman, Sr., 70, of Cumberland, Md., died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Devlin Manor Health Care Center, Cumberland.
He was born March 15, 1945 in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Raymond Harman and Mabel Piefer Harman.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy and he had worked as a tire changer for Fisher Tire Company.
He is survived by his companion Martha Scherr and one son, George Harman.
A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, January 5 at Kimble Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Eldridge Kerns officiated. Interment was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney.
