He was preceded in death by wife, Minnie Lee Ellis; son, Bobby Richey; parents, Loy Elbert and Laura Ellis. He is survived by daughters, Penny Johnson, Social Circle; Marie Ellis Young, Georgetown, TX; Fran Ryals, Stone Mountain; Pamela Chandler, Loganville; sons, Buddy Richey, Wedowee, AL, Doug Richey, Loganville; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Thompson, Austell, Joann Ellis, GA, and Marion Frick, GA. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillandale Memorial Park with John Byerly officiating.
