ELD. RODNEY LAWSON GRAHAM, age 68, Missionary Baptist preacher and U. S. Army Veteran.

A resident of Kentwood, he died at 11:30 am Monday January 4, 2016 at his home. He surrendered to the Lord's ministry in 1984 and was the pastor of several churches throughout the area for the last 31 years. Bro. Graham was currently the pastor of Oral Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and New Stateline Missionary Baptist Church. Before serving his Lord, he served his country as a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Bro. Graham was also a welder for over 45 years and he enjoyed collecting all types of model tractors.

And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee. (2nd Chronicles 14:11)

Visitation was Wednesday January 6th at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church from 6 pm until 9 pm. Visitation continued at the church Thursday from 9 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Eld. Everette Broome, Eld. Duane Ball, Eld. Mark Hobgood, Eld. Douglas Graham, and Eld. Brent King officiating, and Eld. Billy Reyer providing special music. Burial followed in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
