Calvin Eugene Campbell, 60, of Maywood, passed away Jan. 1, 2016, at his home.

Calvin was born on Feb. 18, 1955, in McCook to Eugene Campbell and Muriel Janet (Koetter) Campbell. He lived in the Maywood-Curtis area all his life and worked for United States Postal Service at the time of his death.

He married Linda Kay Meissner, of McCook, on Aug. 7, 1976, in Curtis. Together they had six children, Delton Eugene, Dustin William, Bret Lee, Spencer Drew, Tempest Laree and Cassidee Mariah.

Calvin served as an elder in the McCook Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a great husband, father, brother and friend to so very many.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother, Muriel.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Linda, of Maywood; sons, Delton (Bethany) Campbell, of Bocas Del Toro, Panama, and Dustin, Bret and Spencer Campbell, all of Curtis; daughters, Tempest (Adrian) Dimas, of McCook, and Cassidee Campbell, of Maywood; two grandchildren, Colten and Ireland Campbell, of Bocas Del Toro, Panama; father, Eugene Campbell, of Curtis; sisters, Cathy, of Ainsworth, and Diane, of Ladonia, Texas; brothers, Doug, Ted and Tom Campbell, all of Curtis; and many in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, at the McCook Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, McCook, is in charge of arrangements.
