Andrea Rae Moss, 37, of Cullowhee, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday January 2, 2016 at her residence. Born in Dallas, Texas, she had been a resident of Jackson County for over 20 years. Andrea had earned a business degree with honors from Southwestern Community College and was currently enrolled to obtain another degree in accounting. She loved to cross stitch, she loved her dogs and was a true animal lover, but most of all she loved her family and her children.

She is survived by her husband Eric Moss and their two children Alexzander and Rebekka.

Grandmother­ Helen Farrell of Florida
Several nephews, aunts, uncles and in­laws also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday January 8 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Tommy Holden and Jim Ed Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fall Cliff Cemetery.

NOTE: Andrea was the biological grand-daughter of Alvin Burton & Frieda Dorothy Mae (FRIEBEL) HILLIS. Her father was Bobby Ray HILLIS at birth, but was adopted by William Olan & Iva Ora (PUCKETT) JOHNSON when he was 11 months old. They changed his name to Rodney William JOHNSON. In later years, he was reunited with his biological HILLIS family. Andrea's aunt Minnie HILLIS REAGOR attended her wedding in North Carolina.
