Florence Loretta Lewis, 84, of Frederick passed away on January 3rd at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Rev. Herman Thomas Lewis, Sr. Florence was born June 26, 1931 in Petersburg, West Virginia to the late William Edward and Florence Stone. She was a National member of the Holiness Ministers Wives and Widows Council. She loved baking pies that were widely consumed in the Frederick area. She also loved watching I Love Lucy and Sanford and Son in her spare time. She is survived by her children; Vernia "Penny" Rollins (Edward, Sr.), Evelyn Rollins (Clyde), Linda "Mushie" Love (Bruce) and Edward "Eddie" Lewis (Sherri). Grandchildren; Edward, Jr. "EJ" (Tawanda), Ti-Ron, Lateres, Ikea (Ralph), Kristy and Tremayne "TD". Great-grandchildren; Kiara, Rafael, and Jade. Brothers; James and Joseph Stone. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son; Herman Thomas Lewis, Jr. Grandson; Darrien Thomas Rollins. And sister; Lucille Reynolds. Visitation will be held at Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church of God, 517 South Market Street, Frederick on Thursday, January 7th from 10-11 AM where a Home Going Service will begin at 11. Entombment will follow at the Chapel Mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick.
