She was born on March 9, 1950 in Mullins, SC to Dock Benjamin Sarvis and Madge Elizabeth Jones Sarvis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Autry Causey; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Surviving are her step-children, Terry Causey and Radgie Causey; brother, Michael (Buddy) Sarvis and wife Deborah of Thomasville; sister, Betty Ann Fowler of Tabor City, NC; and several step-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at Meares Funeral Home Chapel in Mullins, SC. Interment will follow in Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
