Cyrus Strong Pelton, 86, passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the home of his son Louis, 16 Adams Street. He had been in ill health for several years. He was a retired painter. He was born Cuylerville, tut had lived here most of his life. His passing is mourned by a large circle of friends. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Williams of Livonia, two other sons, Watson of Geneva and George of Dansville and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the home Sunday at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. David L. Leach, rector of St. Peter's Memorial Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial to Greenmount cemetery.
