Cumberland, MD - Wendy Shai Davis, 33, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015.
Born May 2, 1982, in Cumberland, MD, Wendy was the daughter of Jeffrey Alan Davis, Sr., and wife Kim, Cumberland, MD, and Jackie Leigh Liller and husband, Ken, Cumberland, MD.
Wendy was preceded in death by two brothers: PFC Brandon Lee Davis, KIA Iraq, 2004, and Jeffrey Alan Davis, Jr.
A graduate of Fort Hill High School, Wendy attended Allegany College of Maryland.
She was a member of the Hyndman Ministries. Wendy was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #271, Cumberland, MD; the Cumberland Outdoor Club; the Cresaptown Fraternal Order of Eagles #2883; the Fort Cumberland Post #13 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; the Henry Hart Post #1411 V.F.W. Auxiliary; and the Kennels Mill Sportsmen's Club.
Wendy was very active with the Gulf War Memorial. She loved animals and was a huge Miami Dolphins fan.
Besides her parents, Wendy his survived by her boyfriend: Bill Aldridge, Cumberland, MD; her stepsisters: Kira Smith; and Kassie Smith, both of Cumberland, MD; her niece: Adeline Raine Davis; her nephew: Brandon Jeffrey Davis; her paternal grandmother: Stella Davis, Cumberland, MD; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Steve Leydig officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
