Mrs. Deborah Jordan Rice, age 64 of Villa Rica, Georgia died Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
Mrs. Rice was born in Alabama on June 23, 1951, the daughter of the late Claude Jordan and Ruth McCulley Jordan. She was retired software engineer having worked with E3 and Associates, was a member of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church and Covenant Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her sons, Russ Horton of Villa Rica, Ryan Horton of Minneapolis, Minnesota; fiancé, Frank Henry Satterfield of Villa Rica; brother, Roy Jordan of Cedartown, Larry Jordan of Foley, Alabama, Steven Jordan of Ft. Polk, Louisiana; sister, Sandra J. Henson of Heflin, Alabama and five grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Rice.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 9 at 2 p.m. at the Carrollton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Patton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
