Harold Leslie Hartman of Marietta, OK was born June 20, 1951 at Rubottom, OK, the son of Sam O. and Burma Taliaferro Hartman. He passed away Tuesday, January 5, near Marietta at the age of 64.

A resident of Love County all of his life, Harold graduated from Turner High School with the class of 1970. He worked at the Marietta Cookie Factory for many years and at the time of his death was employed by WinStar Casino. Harold and the former Jerrie Lynn Hickman were married July 14, 1980 in Marietta, and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2015. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, dancing, playing with his grandchildren, telling stories, and picking up pecans. Harold was a member of the Eastman Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, S.O. Hartman and Glenis Hartman.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Shauana Hartman of Marietta; three grandchildren, Timberly Hartman, Stryker Hartman, and Slade Kendrick; brother and sister-in-law, Herbie and Sue Hartman, also of Marietta; father-in-law, Wesley Hickman of the Greenville Community; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jacky and Judy Hickman of Yukon, Tommy O’Steen and Joyce Jones and Jonny and Sandra Hickman of Greenville, OK, Ginger Hartman of Leon, OK, and Marlene Hartman of San Antonio, TX; and many nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends.

Casket bearers are Lance Hartman, Cash Lang, Jeff Lang, Devyn Buckhanon, Easton Hartman, and Slade Kendrick. Honorary bearers are Dee Idleman, Charles Willis, Dewey Hicks, Wayne Allison, Marshal Harmon, Jack Morgan, Delbert Daugherty, Dee Higgins, other nephews and nieces, co-workers at WinStar Casino, and former co-workers at the Marietta Cookie Factory.Friday January 8, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church - Marietta
