BOBBIE KATHRYN POWELL, age 81, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems Winchester. Ms. Powell was born on May 6, 1934 in Lynchburg, Tenn., to the late William and Mary Smith. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Powell was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and aunt.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Powell was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Powell and grandchildren; Brian Vanattia and Stacy Holman.
She is survived by her son, Larry Brazier of Fayetteville, Tenn., daughter, Patricia Vanattia and her husband Paul of Tullahoma, Tenn., grandchildren; Amanda Brazier of Fayetteville, Tenn., Justin Brazier of Huntsville, AL, great-grandchildren; Jason Woodall, Lamar Foster, Victor Vanattia and Austin Homer, Jr.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. with funeral services starting at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Reverend Leo Smith, Sr., officiating.
