She had been a member of the Park Ridge Senior Center.

Preceded in death by her husband, William, she is survived by her children, Heather Ayers, Donavan Gaston, Kathyjo (Dan) Townson, and also Rachel Stephen; grandchildren, Noah Gaston and Jillian Davis; and great-grandchildren, Patience and Solace Gaston.

Funeral service was held Oct. 10 in Nelson Funeral Home, Park Ridge. Burial was in Memory Gardens, Arlington Heights.
