Our beloved Mattie Lucille Hill, known by many as Lucille, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed peacefully on January 3rd, 2016 at the age of 87. She was born to Silas and Dola Ritchey, on November 11th, 1928, the 5th of 8 children.
She married the love of her life and best friend, late Charles Hill, on December 25th, 1947. Their love was one that rivals the best books and movies, truly a companionship that has now been reunited outside of this Earth. They lived in Norman, Oklahoma where they had two sons, Jimmy Darrell (JD) and Rodney (Rod) Hill. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until 1979 when she retired to spend time with Charles, who retired from the Norman Fire Department that year. Together they spent countless summers at Lake Texoma, boating, fishing, and building friendships and memories that will last forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings JW (Mary) Richey, Pauline (Ike) Ogle, Imogene (Carl) Smalling,Frank (Sue) Richey and Doyle Richey.
She is survived by her sisters Cherry (Jack)Veal and Becky (Charles) Barnard. Her two sons JD (Colleen) Hill of Norman and Rodney (Diana) Hill of Edmond and three grandchildren, Nathan, Amy, and Katie Jo Hill.

Mattie Lucille Hill, 87, of Norman, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, in Norman. Private services were hosted. Burial followed in the Norman IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements were by Primrose Funeral Service.
