Our beloved mom, sister, aunt, Gran, and Granny, Phyllis Jean Sisk Segura Jewkes, returned to her Heavenly home on Sunday, January 3, 2016 in Taylorsville.

Born February 21, 1943 to Robert Lee Sisk, Sr., and Helen Sue Singley in Wellington, Texas.

She married the man of her dreams, Merrill George Jewkes, on February 14, 1998 in the Jordan River Temple and was later sealed for all eternity on February 14, 2006.

Mom was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved Heavenly Father and his gospel! She wanted to spread it to everyone she came in contact with and served a three-year mission at the Family History Library.

She worked hard and diligent for the Utah Department of Emergency Management for twenty-seven years and later retired.

Mom's life was about her family. Thank you, Mom, for your unconditional love and support. For being the best mom you could be! We love you to the moon and back! We are forever grateful! Until we meet again!

Preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Christine Davis; parents, grandparents, four step-children, one step-grandson, and two step great-grandsons. She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Erika) Segura, Anthony Segura, and Andy Kinnett; step daughter, Jenniffer (Charline) Webster-Jewkes; as well as six other step-children, Becky, Trudy, Brent, Guy, Connie, and Reese; brothers, Bob (Laura) Sisk and John (Sheila) Sisk; sister, Rosie (Michael) Deason; and a prosperous legacy of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Oh, the fun she had with "her babies" will live on forever in their hearts!

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West).
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
