Gladys Nora Harrison, 73, of Richmond, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Baptist Health – Richmond.
She was born November 19, 1942, in Jackson County, to Gentry and Katie (Griffin) Powell, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the widow of Tommy Harrison, and a homemaker.
Gladys is survived by one son, Robert Abrams (Joanna) of Richmond, a daughter, Patricia Ann, three sisters, Marie Smith, Margaret Barron, and Lilly Tate and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lina Powell Eversole, June Spencer, and Ellen Coffey and two brothers, Johnny and Albert Powell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Masters officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until service time Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Private burial will follow Friday in the Richmond Cemetery.
