Jean Bivins Farmer, age 72 of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, January 03, 2016. She was born September 15, 1943 in Carrollton to the late Sidney Bivins and Ruby Sullivan Bivins. She was a 1961 Mt. Zion High School graduate and a retired Accounting Assistant for BellSouth. She is survived by her husband, Larry Farmer of Carrollton; daughter, Christy Crenshaw (Keith) of Carrollton; son, Ritchie Farmer (Samantha) of Carrollton; brother, Wayne Bivins (Elizabeth (Carrollton); six grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, January 07, 2016 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor Tim Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
