Nancy Ruth Patterson May died peacefully Sunday January 3, 2016.
She was 82, born in Kilgore, Texas on March 7, 1933 to William and Bess Patterson. She lived in Upshur County for the past 30 years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Phillip May, her daughter Catherine Leigh; son William (Bill) May and wife Margaret; son Phillip May and wife Teresa; and daughter Sue Ellen Anderson and husband Jeff; granddaughter Christine Benbenisty and husband Doron; 2 great grandchildren Adi and Lena along with numerous nieces nephews and cousins. She was so loved. A retired nurse she loved sewing and working jig saw puzzles and her church Graceton Church of Christ where she'd been a devoted member for more than 30 years. She will be sorely missed.
