Robert L. Fulmer, Sr. passed away January 3, 2016. A lifelong resident of Aiken, he was born March 7, 1932 down in Hitchcock Woods to the late Q. Juston Fulmer, Sr. and the late Lucy L. Fulmer.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Q. Justin Fulmer, Jr., John Fulmer, and Donald L. Fulmer.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia S. Fulmer; four sons, Robert Leonard Fulmer, Jr. (Deborah), Clinton Smalley Fulmer (Virginia), Timothy Forrest Fulmer (Wanda), and Richard Wise Fulmer (Cindy); eight grandchildren, Erin Fulmer Walker (Mark), Lauren Fulmer McTier, Erika Kayea Jones (Kevin), Sean Desmond Kayea (Ella), Clinton Jeremy Fulmer, Sarah Fulmer, Jessica Lee Fulmer, and Haley Grace Fulmer; four great-grandsons; and a sister, Linda Fulmer Schnackenberg (Robert).
He loved the Lord, his family, his country, Aiken, SC and the Clemson Tigers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Aiken.
A graveside service will be held in Bethany Cemetery.
