Mr. Michael H. “Mickey” Witt, age 65 of Franklin, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday at 1pm with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. A native of Allen County, he was the son of the late Paul Everett Witt and Leona Hagan Witt. He was a self employed contractor. Mr. Witt was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church and the New Salem Masonic Lodge #462. He was preceded in death by a brother – Phillip Witt and daughter in law – Clair Drake. Survivors include his wife – Cathy Perdue Witt of Franklin; 1 son – Michael Witt and wife Shelly of Franklin; 1 step son – Chad Drake and wife Brittany of Franklin; 1 sister – Melanie Beakes and husband Mike of Franklin; 1 brother – Bruce Witt and fiancé Carrie of Franklin; 3 grandsons – Dustin Saylors, Cameron Witt and Sawyer Drake; 2 granddaughters – Abby Drake and Kirby Drake and a great granddaughter – Savannah Grace Saylors; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 2pm Monday and after 6 am Tuesday at Crafton Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Hospice House, 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104. A Masonic Service will be held Monday at 7pm at Crafton Funeral Home.
