MAURICE "JOKER" PEARCE, 77, Went Home to be with his Lord Early Sunday Morning Following a Battle with Cancer which began in Mid November.

Easily Identifiable as the Ultimate "Country Gentleman", Maurice was Quick with a Light Hearted Conversation and Enjoyed Playing the Gracious Hosts for the Loyal Friends who Patronized the Family Restaurant Overlooking Reed's Creek in the Bean's Ferry Community of Itawamba County.

He was Born July 24, 1938 in Monroe County.

His Parents were Ross and Oleta Pearce of Smithville.

He was a Graduate of Smithville High School.

He Served with the Mississippi National Guard in Amory for Eleven Years.

He was a Retired Truck Driver who Drove for 56 Years.

He was the Owner of Country Gentleman's Fish and Steak House for 36 Years.

He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Member of Fulton Lodge 444.

He was a Member of East Fulton Baptist Church where he Sang in the Choir.

Services with Masonic Rites will be at 11 A.M., on Tuesday January 5, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Dewitt Bain, Bro. Bill Adams, and Bro. John Lewis Officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Senter Funeral Home has been Entrusted with the Arrangements.

Maurice and Myra Sue Riggs Pearce Married February 14, 1958 and she Survives him, along with a Son, Jeff Pearce and Wife, Leslie, of Fulton; and a Daughter, Beverly Beane and Husband, Ben, of Fulton; Two Grandchildren, Jeff Pearce, Jr., and Mylie Kate Beane.

He was Preceded in Death by his Parents; and a Infant Brother.

Pallbearers will be Members of Fulton Masonic Lodge 444.
