Gloria G. Dyer, of Syracuse, passed away August 31, 2006 at University Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Gloria was a life resident of the area. She was an employee for Kaufman's Department Store for 10 years and was a board member of K.J.'s Angels. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Choir, Cora Thomas Community Choir, an original member of the George Wilbourn Choir and she also sang with other various choirs. Survivors: Her parents, Rev. Jerry L. Dyer, Sr. and Claudia Dyer; brother, Jerry L. Dyer, Jr., of Syracuse; grandmother, Eula Lang. Calling Hours: Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME 1500 PARK ST.
