Virginia Arlene Sandridge Reid will not be calling to share the "Good News of Jehovah's Kingdom" (Matt. 6:9,10,14). She passed Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Augusta Health-Shenandoah House, in Fishersville. She was born to Stephen Grey Sandridge and Maeitta Crickenberger Sandridge on April 20, 1922, the last to pass of ten siblings. Her husband, William Forrest Reid (Shag), passed June 22, 1973.
They had one daughter, Patricia Ann Reid, who married Lloyd Berry Painter, Sr. They gave birth to one son, Lloyd Berry Painter, Jr. He had one son, Lloyd Daniel Painter.
There will be no visitation and the family suggests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, C/o Augusta Health Foundation, PO Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939.
A memorial service will be conducted at 427 Cattle Scales Road, the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses by Brother Jay Wayland, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2016. There will be a reception for friends and family, at the Kingdom Hall, immediately following the memorial service.
