Kathleen Marie Kassube, 33588 Mulvey Road, Fraser, died following a long illness early Sunday morning, June 29, 1997, in Medilodge of Sterling Heights.

Kathleen was born in Macomb County on August 29, 1931, 1 of 3 daughters, to Albert J. & Rose Marie (Leitez) Ahrens.

Kathleen Marie Ahrens was united in marriage to Marvin Edward Kassube on August 30, 1952 in St. John Lutheran Church of Fraser.

The couple have been long time residents of Fraser.
Kathleen was a cook for Hauf Brau Hall in Fraser for 13 years. An active mamber at St. John's Church, she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society & had sang in the St. John Choir. She loved to work in the garden & growing flowers. Kathleen was a #1 Hockey Grandma & never missed her grandsons' hockey games. She enjoyed camping in the family motor home. A very caring & loving person she will be missed by the many she has touched in her lifetime.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Marvin Edward Kassube; her devoted children, Richard (Kathleen) & Robert; her sister Elvira (John) Kinnunen, & her grandson Richard M. Kassube.

She was predeceased by her sister, Geraldine Ahrens, in 1928.
