Mr. John Bandy, Sr. was born on June 10, 1943 in Newport News, Virginia to Carlton and Mary Bandy and passed from this life on Sunday, December 20, 2015.
He was a graduate of Huntington High School and Norfolk State University.
John Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Mary Bandy; his brothers, Julius (Bernetta), Melvin (Alberta), and Cleveland Rogers.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, Richard C. Bandy of Newport News; two sisters, Leola Lawrence (William), and Daisy Hundley (Norman); five children, John Jr., Bryan, Kevin, Shovar, and Kim; as well as five grandchildren; three aunts, Helen and Loretha Bandy of Hampton, and Queenie Dixon of Philadelphia, PA; a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
