Jack was preceded in death by parents, Louis and Mavis Jacobs and brothers, David and Joseph; daughter-in-law, Karen Jacobs; son-in-law, Mark Davis.
Jack was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after having served proudly during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Lowe. He was a member of the 1947 Barberton High School State Championship football team. In 1994, he retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 30 years as a race car tire builder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling, and walking at Lake Anna.
Jack was a member of Firestone VFW Post 3383, a life member of the National Rifle Association, Barberton High School Alumni Association, and a life member of Wadsworth Hunt Club, and AARP #1104, Barberton Chapter.
Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors by Firestone Post 3383.
