Canon Glen B. Walter, of the Cathedral Church of St. John, will conduct funeral services at 11 a. m. Monday from the Spicer-Mulliken Funeral Home, Twenty-fourth and Market Streets, for Harlan F. Casperson, 68, a overseas veteran of World War I, and a retired employee of the DuPont Company. Mr. Casperson died Thursday at his home, 309 Marsh Road, Hillcrest, where he had lived for the past 35 years.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow evening, after 7, at the funeral home.
Mr. Casperson, born in Wilmington, the son of Harry A. and Mary Fairlamb Casperson, retired three years ago after 12 years as a clerk for the DuPont Company. At one time he had been with the Woolworth Company and had been manager of the Salem (N. J.) store.
He was a member of the Episcopal Cathedral Church of St. John and had formerly been active in veterans' organizations.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. William T. Mahoney, same address; an uncle, Harry Fairlamb, Wilmington; and three cousins, Miss Catherine Lewis and Mrs. Elsie Burch, both of Wilmington, and Mrs. Frances Baker, Spokane, Wash.
