VAN METER - Services for Kathryn Lynne Spatz, 99, of Van Meter were held recently. Mrs. Spatz died Nov. 6, 1982.
She was born at Van Meter on Feb. 22, 1883 and lived all her life in Van Meter. She married William Spatz on July 30, 1914.
Mrs. Spatz was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lady Washington, Chapter 335 of Adel since 1943. She was also a member of the Van Meter United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three children, Mabel Pennock of Californa, William Spatz of Missouri and Albert Spatz of California; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
