Danny Ray Trammell, age 53, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his residence. Danny was born on Friday, December 1, 1961 in Cleveland County to the late John David "J.D." and Nancy Eckard Kerley who survives. Danny was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was known for his good heart towards everyone. Danny was employed by King Hickory Furniture and also worked at Hallman Furniture and Alexvale Furniture.
In addition to his mother, Danny leaves to cherish his memory his stepfather Jay Kerley, of Taylorsville, his daughter Alicia Trammell Bruce of Kennedale, Texas, a son Anthony Ray Trammell, of Fortworth, Texas, two granddaughters McKensie Rhys Bruce and Sydney Tam Trammel; one sister Rita Hinkle and husband Jerry of Statesville; one brother Eddie Trammell of Taylorsville; three nieces, Susan Caudle, Amy Thompson, and Kristin Trammell; one nephew, Michael; four great nieces, three great nephews, and a host of cousins and friends, and man's best friend Roscoe.
The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Allen Fox officiated.
Pallbearers were Michael Smith, Anthony Trammell, Jerry Hinkle, Brandon Caudle, Jonathan Caudle, and Eddie Trammell.
