Constance L. (Martin) Martin, 88, of Coventry, formerly of West Warwick, passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 27, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Brookdale Centre of New England, Coventry.
She was the beloved wife for 49 years of Hugh E. Martin. Born in Cambridge, MA, a daughter of the late Walter and Anne (Ludwig) Martin. She lived in Poughkeepsie, NY before moving to West Warwick in 1979 then Coventry two years ago.
Mrs. Martin was an administrative assistant at the Trudeau Center for 14 years before retiring. She was a former communicant of St. James Parish in West Warwick and a communicant of SS. John & Paul Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert G. Martin and his wife Beth of Medway, MA; a daughter, Nancy T. Pendergast of Coventry and four grandchildren, Tara, Dylan, Tyler and Benjamin.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at 8:00 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, South Main St., Coventry. Interment will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 5:30 - 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Walter J.
