Joseph T. Dial, 25, of Springfield, formerly of Petersburg, died at 5:48 p.m. Thursday near Springfield. He was born Sept. 12, 1966, in Taylorville, the son of Jack L. and Charlotte Johnson Dial. He married Schannon L. Bryan in 1990. Two grandfathers preceded him in death.
Mr. Dial was owner, operator and disc jockey for Name That Tune.
Surviving are his wife; parents; three sisters and three brothers; grandmothers, Mrs. Freida Dial of St. Elmo and Mrs. Charlotte Johnson of Carbondale.
Services at Staab Funeral Home. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
