William F. Troy, Jr, 82 of Sixth St., died January 1st in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

He was the husband of Sandra C. (Robidoux) Troy who died in 2014. He leaves two sons John E. Troy and his wife Lucy of Jacksonville, Fl., and Gary S. Troy and his wife Stephanie of Raymore, MO, two daughters Imogene "Emma" Benson and her husband Drew of North Grafton and Brenda Sanders and her husband Mack of Worcester, three brothers Robert Troy of Holden, Joseph Troy and his wife Barbara of Holden and Dennis Troy and his partner Richard of Worcester, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sons Raymond F., William F. Troy, III, James M. Troy, MD, and Joseph Troy, and also his sister Loretta Troy.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of William F. Troy, Sr. and Alice (Wnuk) Troy. He graduated from St. Stephen's High School in Worcester and later served his country with the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Bill lived in Woodland, ME for 25 years and was a 32nd Degree Member of Lodge 170, AF & AM in Caribou.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in West Brookfield.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 5 from the Morin Funeral Home, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 11 am in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will be at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, Jan 4 from 5 to 7 pm in the funeral home.
