Mrs. Coker Dies at 57
Mrs. Minnie Coker, 57, of 380 North Twenty-sixth street, died at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital. She had been ill six months.
Mrs. Coker was born in Collinsville, and had lived in East St. Louis 54 years. She was the wife of Harry L. Coker, an employee of Union Electric Co.
Funeral services will be held in Kurrus chapel at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Clyde Gunther of the Full Gospel tabernacle officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial cemetery.
She was a member of the Full Gospel tabernacle.
Mrs. Coker leaves her husband Harry: two daughters Mrs. Grace Stimmel and Mrs. Oscar (Marie) Herderhorst, both of East St. Louis: three sons Harry and Edward of East St. Louis and Walter of Buffalo, N.Y.; a sister Mrs. Lottie Hillgamyer of East St. Louis; three brothers William and August Hillgamyer of East St. Louis and Henry of Chicago, and seven grandchildren.
