OBITUARY: Eddie R. Griffith, former Anthonite, died Monday at Van Nuys, Calif., where he had resided the last 14 years.
Mr. Griffith was born in Anthon April 26, 1893. He moved to Sioux City in 1922, later moving to California in 1944.
Survivors include the widow, Laura; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Peters of Encino, Calif.; three sons, Ronald of Reseda, Calif., and Vern and Cecil both of Sioux City; a twin sister, Mrs. Edna Flint, residing in California, and another sister, Mrs. Nell Mills of Anthon; a brother, Ellis Griffith of Aurora, S.D., 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at Van Nuys, Calif., and burial will be in the San Fernando Mission cemetery.
