Funeral services for George Lear were held Wednesday at 10:30 A. M. from the James B. Totten Fune­ral Home chapel, with Rev. W. W. Rivers, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.

Pallbearers were R. K. Shirley, H. L. Griffin, J. M. Wright, Theo Youree, Jake Neff, Herald Dillard, Joe Davis and Oran McLarty.

Members of the Odd Fellows Lodge conducted rites at the grave side, and interment was in New Electra Cemetery.

Lear, 70, was stricken with a heart attack late Monday after­noon, and died enroute to the hos­pital. He had been a resident of Electra 35 years, and was sexton at the Electra Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Miss Servilla Mae Lear, Wichita Falls; a sister, Mrs. Naomi Church, Burkburnett, and an aunt, Mrs. J Nannie Giles, Electra._

Among those who were called to Electra last week on account of the death of George Lear were his sis­ter, Mrs. Naomi Church of Burkburnett and her son, C. H. Sparks of Phillips, his former wife, Mrs. Cordie Lear and her daughter, Mrs Alton Miller of Wichita Falls, a great-nephew Tom Parnell and family of, Kamay, Mrs. Lear's daughter, Miss Servilla Mae Lear was unable to be present, being in Chicago where she is attending a university._
