GEORGE GATES.
George Gates, died yesterday morning at Swartwood, N. Y. aged sixty years. He had
been in ill health about eight months but had been able to be around his work the
greater part of the time. The decedent is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Arthur
Dense and Miss Nina Gates at home; a son, Milton R. Gates of Swartwood; a sister
Mrs. John Golile, of Elmira and a brother, Thomas Gates of this city.
The funeral will be held at the family home Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Swartwood
Methodist Church. Burial in the Swartwood cemetery.
