Born and raised in Rochester, NY, he was a son of Donald W. and Ann (O'Hara) Moss of Rochester. A resident of Bristol for the past 17 years, he previously resided in Rochester, where he had graduated from James Madison High School, Class of 1975. He was an EMT-C and a supervisor for Alert Ambulance for the past 17 years. He also was a member of the board of directors for Paramedic Systems, Inc. He previously worked for Bausch & Lomb in Rochester. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Amaral Golf League at Wampanoag Golf Club in Swansea, MA. He was an avid Red Sox Fan and a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs Football Fan. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three sons, Joseph Moss and his wife, Rebecca of Dighton, MA, Matthew Moss of Rochester, and Jeffrey R. Moss of Bristol, two grandchildren, Marcus and Isabella Moss of Dighton; eight brothers and sisters; John J. Moss, of Bristol, Timothy P., Michael D., Maureen A., Stephen E., Donald W., Jr., and Terrance B. Moss and Kathleen E. Palmerni, all of Rochester.
