SPARTANBURG, SC-- Ms. Minnie Earle Wax, of 180 South Pine Lake Drive, peacefully entered rest on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at her home. Minnie was a native of Laurens County; she was the daughter of Mary Wax and William Simpson.
Ms. Wax was a member of Believers' Fellowship of the Assemblies of God.

Survivors include: her son, Mark (Lisa) Fields of New York; her brothers, Willie C. Simpson and Maurice Simpson both of Maryland and Grady D. (Gloria) Boyd of Spartanburg, SC; her sisters, Mary Ann Simpson of Maryland and Dorothy Mae Simpson Johnson of Washington, DC; and her granddaughter, Markia Fields of Spartanburg, SC.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at Believers' Fellowship of the Assemblies of God, 150 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC. Pastor Allen Dawkins will officiate. Ms. Wax will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Road, Moore, SC.

The family will receive friends at the home of her brother, Grady D. Boyd, 4370 Conrad Drive, Spartanburg, SC, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013.
