Obituary:
Ula Beatrice Littleton Markwell, age 86, of Maysville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
Born July 6, 1929, in Morgan County, she was a daughter of the late James Perry and Clora Frances Peyton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Orene McCowan and Faye Perry; two brothers, Elwood and Waldo Peyton; her husband and father of her children, Elwood Littleton; and her husband, Hazel Markwell.
Mrs. Markwell is survived by three children and their spouses, Kathy (Cletis) Cord of Maysville, Mike (Louise) Littleton of Maysville, and Nola (Robert) Abbott of Grove City, Ohio; one sister, Thelma Long of Campton; one brother, Ray Peyton of Morehead; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; dear extended family members and friends.
Mrs. Markwell was a homemaker and member of Sandy Hook Baptist Church. She enjoyed Bible study, gospel music, quilting and spending time with family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Roger Long and Brother Jerry Maschino officiating. Burial will follow in the Grassy Lick Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Michael Abbott, Tyler Dominey, Nathan Perry, Bert Peyton, Jamie Abbott, Megan Littleton, Jim Peyton, Shane Ackerman, and Brianna Dominey.
