Marilyn Ardith (Remsburg) Harms was born on July 7, 1931, in Carroll, Iowa to Craig and Enid (Coomes) Remsburg. She was married to Carl Harms in January 1950, the couple later divorced. Marilyn worked as a cashier at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines until her retirement in 1996.
Marilyn is survived by her son Michael (Deborah) Harms of Lake City, daughter Cynthia Venteicher of Arizona, four grandchildren Jamie Hanlon, Christina Jones, Jeremy Harms and Stephanie (Tim) Nepple, seven great-grandchildren, brother Randy (Marlene) Remsburg, and sister Kay (Edgar) Hunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents Craig and Enid Remsburg, brothers Bud Remsburg and Galen Remsburg, and sisters Peggy McClue, Doris Stokes, and Verla Kopf.
