Mrs. Eva Lacey, 81, of Camp Wood, died July 2
,1982, in Kerrville. Services will be Monday 10 a.m. in Nueces Canyon Church of Christ with Roland Fry of Goldthwaite and C.A. Sweeten of Camp Wood officiating.
Mrs. Lacey was born Sept. 7, 1900 in Hackberry and married Leo A. Lacey June 17, 1922 in Rocksprings. She worked with the EMS and was active in the senior citizens organization. Mrs. Lacey was life time resident of Camp Wood and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by four daughters, Myrtle Barker and Kathleen Womack of Camp Wood, Virginia Alston of Del Rio, and Barbara Carmon of San Angelo; one son, Leo Lacey Jr. of Hobbs NM; one sister, Thelma McCurdy of Camp Wood; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildrren; many nieces and hephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be James Carmon, Curtis Carmon, Donnie Alston, Hank Womack, Douglas Harrington, Mike Lacey, Robert Alston and Dana Glynn.
