Sara Collins, 91, of Magnolia, Arkansas, formerly of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her home at Dudneywood.

She was born on August 28, 1924 in Queen City, Texas to the late William Lee and Emily Blanche (Hayes) Knighton. She attended Central Baptist Church in Magnolia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.M. Collins; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Sara is survived by her two children, Sarajane Telford of Magnolia; Steve Collins of Perryville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Scott Telford of Magnolia, Arkansas, Kelly Bray of Northwest Arkansas, Chris Collins of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Patrick Collins of Perryville, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation with the family will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Steve Ford officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Memorial donations may be made to Central Baptist Church or to Life Touch Hospice.

The family thanks special caregivers, Annette Stone, Pat Box, Michelle Powell, and Carolyn Traylor, with special thanks to Life Touch Hospice and staff and the staff of Dudneywood Assisted Living.
