Retired Farmer will be Buried Monday Afternoon.


Charles Ihlenfeldt, 1022 South 21st street, retired farmer, died early today. He was a stroke victim a few weeks ago and steadily failed in health since.

He was 79.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 2 p.m. from the Lutheran church at Two Creeks. Interment will be in the Maach cemetery in the town of Mishicot.

The deceased was born in Germany in 1856 and in early life came to this county, engaging in farming at Sandy Bay and Two Creeks. He was twice married, the second time to Johanna Gomel. Sixteen years ago he moved to this city to retire.

Survivors are his widow; a son Ray, Madison, state supervisor of elementary schools, a brother William, Milwaukee; five grandchildren and two great-grand-children.

The body may be viewed from Saturday night on at the funeral home.
