SOUTH PORTLAND -- Priscilla Murphy, 83, formerly of South Portland and Westbrook died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at the St. Marguerite d'Youville Pavilion in Lewiston surrounded by her loving family. Priscilla had an artistic flair that she loved to share with her family and many friends. Priscilla was born on Feb. 26, 1924, the daughter of Thomas and Madeline Fernald McDonough where she attended Deering High School. She married Alfred S. Murphy on Oct. 1, 1943. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician in Millcreek for over 20 years retiring from CVS in Westgate. Priscilla was a communicant of St. Johns Catholic Church in South Portland. She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Murphy; daughter, Margaret Murphy; two brothers, Thomas McDonough, Frank McDonough; and granddaughter, Kendra Knight. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2007, at the Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. A Mass of holy Eucharist will be held 9 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2007, at St. John the Evangelist in South Portland. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
