Jason Mills, 44, died suddenly from complications of a heart aneurysm Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Jason was born August 23, 1971.
He was an accomplished musician and drummer in several bands. He was an avid collector of music, especially heavy metal. Music played a huge part in his life.
Family was everything to Jason and he had a deep love for his mother, sisters, and children. Jason could make everyone laugh and was known as the comedian of the family.
His sudden death has left a hole in his family that can never be filled.
He is survived by his civil union spouse, Holly Lowery; mother, Patty Mills; his children, Chance Mills and Summer Mills; his sisters, Shannon (Larry) Thome and Annie (Matt) Wiseman; two nephews, Jacob and Joseph; two nieces, Della and Darci; and other extended family and a host of friends.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, January 3, 2016, also at Hamilton’s.
