Martha Louise Tirmenstein Dunn, age 82, a resident of Zachary, LA, died December 30, 2015.
Martha was a graduate of the University of Missouri,1955. She was a homemaker and resident of Lake Providence, LA for many years before moving to St. Francisville, LA where she worked for the LA State Penitentiary at Angola. Martha later retired from the West Feliciana School Board Office.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2015 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 10:00 am until services at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Ashley McGuire. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Francisville, LA.
Martha is survived by two daughters, Christie Godwin Stuart and husband Bill of Zachary, Kay Godwin Chauvin of Baton Rouge, and one son, Jack Keith Godwin and wife Sarah McMurry Godwin of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Ashley Knobles Werline and husband Ray, Jr., Christopher Knobles and wife Jessica Shaw Knobles, Jacob Stuart, Samuel Stuart, Ella Godwin, Jason Godwin, Jack Godwin and Ben Godwin; two great-grandchildren; Camden Enlund and Luke Werline.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband, William Lewis Dunn, parents Leo and Louise Tirmenstein and brother Robert Tirmenstein.
