Funeral services for Mrs. Eula (Brown) Coffman, 88, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2003, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home in Cookeville. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery with Bro. Jim Blanken-ship and Bro. Steve Reeder officiating.
Mrs. Coffman died Saturday, July 19 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker.
Born March 15, 1915, in Hilham, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Ellie Isabell (Gaw) Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Coffman; four brothers, Rayford Brown, Herbert Brown, Rady Brown, and an infant; and two sisters, Isma Brown and Fannie Myrtle Brown.
Survivors include a son, William D. Coffman of Cookeville; two daughters, Reba McNeal and husband, Clifford, and Marie Coffman, all of Cookeville; a brother, Haskell Brown of Celina; five sisters, Auda Abney, Vula Daniels, and Zella Daniels, all of Lebanon, Bessie Thomas of Alexandria, and Anna Sherrills of Gallatin; two grandchildren and their spouses, Rick and Sharon McNeal and Donna and Greg Werner; and two great grandchildren, Brad McNeal and Carrie Beth McNeal.
Mrs. Coffman's family and friends served as pallbearers.
