Agnes L. (Elder) Stevenson, 98, of Louisville, passed away Saturday at Britthaven of South Louisville. Born on March 12, 1906 in Breckinridge County, KY,

A member of St. Ann's Altar Sodality and delivered Meals on Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her son, C.J. "Steve" Stevenson, who passed away in October of 2000, and a grandson, George F. Gay III, who passed away April 14, 2003.

She is survived by five daughters, Carolyn Jewell, Gladys Foster, Katherine Sneed, Vickie Sampson and Judy Glass; a son, Bernard Stevenson; sister-in-law, Pauline Stevenson; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. Monday.
