Harold L. Cunningham, 85, of Bakerstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015. He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Elsie F. (Porter) Cunningham; loving father of Richard Cunningham, of Friendship, Martin (Debbie) Cunningham, of Houston, Texas, Laurie Ann (Tom) Williams, of Sarver, Karen (Ray) Seibert, of Gibsonia, and James (Sonsee) Cunningham, of Ross; brother of the late May Winkler; proud grandfather of Ryan, Carly, Catherine (John), Brian (Meredith), Nathan, Anthony (Veronica), Brittany, Christopher, Jonathan and Emme; great-grandfather of Elizabeth, Charlotte, Ruby and Jared; also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Korean War Army veteran, Harold was a longtime member of Bakerstown American Legion Post 548 and the Gibsonia VFW. He worked for 43 years at Peoples Natural Gas Co., was active with the Northmont Brotherhood Club, John E. Mair Lodge 729, Syria Shrine and NACO Caravan 19. Harold was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown where he was baptized in 1930 and served in numerous capacities throughout his life, including as a deacon and elder.

Family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown with the Rev. Jeremy D. Collins officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Bakerstown Cemetery.
